Job summary

OSL seeks a Senior KYC Specialist / Deputy Team Lead to act as second-in-command for the Client Onboarding team. You will balance high-level operational execution with day-to-day coordination, handling complex KYC escalations, mentoring junior analysts, and driving process automation.

Based in a fast-paced digital asset environment, you will collaborate with Sales, Trading and Compliance to ensure timely onboarding of global retail clients while upholding AML/CTF standards and regulatory

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of hands-on KYC/CDD client onboarding experience.
• Direct background in Crypto/Digital Assets, Fintech, Payments, or Modern Securities/Brokerage firms.
• Fluency in Mandarin (reading, writing, and speaking) and English.
• High critical thinking, proactive communication, and disciplined self-management.
• Deep understanding of AML/CTF regulations, digital identity verification frameworks, and risk-scoring models.

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership & Delegation: Direct deputy to Team Lead; supervise daily intake, assign case queues, resolve bottlenecks, ensure SLAs and regulatory targets.
• Escalations & Complex Case Review: Handle advanced KYC due diligence, source of wealth/funds assessments, high-risk escalations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Trading, and Compliance for a frictionless onboarding experience for global retail clients.
• Mentorship & Quality Assurance: Coach junior analysts, provide feedback and standardize best practices.
• Operational Readiness: Point of contact for urgent escalations and after-hours team support.
