Job summary

techstreet in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking an experienced Java developer to design, build, and modernize enterprise web applications. You will work with Spring Boot, microservices, and reactive programming to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of production-level Java application development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, reactive programming, microservices, Maven, JPA, RESTful/SOAP APIs, and MySQL.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, code quality tools, and version control systems such as GitLab, Jenkins, and SonarQube.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices, OWASP Top 10, deployment, and AWS cloud services.
• Familiarity with Java WebFlux, Redis, Memcached, Kafka, and Vault is advantageous.

About you

Bachelor's degree, postgraduate diploma, or professional qualification in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, code quality tools, and version control systems such as GitLab, Jenkins, and SonarQube

Familiarity with Java WebFlux, Quarkus, Redis, Memcached, Kafka, and Vault is advantageous

Experience with Linux/Red Hat, Bash scripting, and application monitoring is an added advantage

Oracle or Java certifications are advantageous

Experience in the financial services industry or credit reporting systems is an added advantage
