Job summary

Adecco Malaysia is seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Engineer to join our global Application Development, Support and Engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain robust, secure financial systems, delivering scalable backend services using Java Spring Boot or Quarkus.

You will work with microservices, REST and SOAP APIs, CI/CD with Azure DevOps, Docker and Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL or Oracle databases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in microservice API development using Java frameworks.
• Deep expertise in Java Spring Boot or Quarkus frameworks.
• Extensive experience in cloud-native microservices development and API-first design.
• Knowledge of API and backend security mechanisms including OAuth2, JWT, encryption, and secrets management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java Spring Boot or Quarkus.
• Implement microservices architecture to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Develop REST and SOAP APIs, documented using Swagger.
• Collaborate with the team using Git for version control and Azure DevOps for CI/CD.
