You will design scalable services, optimize SQL queries, and resolve bottlenecks in high-traffic environments while upholding reliability and code quality through testing and reviews. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive architectural improvements, and implement best practices for maintainability.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot with solid OOP, SOLID, and design pattern knowledge.
• Proven experience building high-performance, scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs.
• Deep understanding of system design, concurrency, performance tuning, load handling, and scalability principles.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, relational databases, query optimization, indexing and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks involving application logic, database queries, resource utilization, and system architecture.
• Optimize backend systems to handle high transaction volumes, traffic spikes, and increasing workloads while maintaining performance and reliability.
• Design efficient database schemas and optimize SQL queries to improve response times and data integrity.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurring problems.
• Improve system architecture, fault tolerance, and resource utilization to enhance scalability and stability.
• Implement unit testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices to ensure code quality and maintainability.
