Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd seeks a Principal IT Pillar Specialist to interpret business issues and recommend best practices. You will solve complex IT Pillar problems and work independently with minimal guidance, potentially leading teams or projects within the IT function.

The role requires in-depth IT Pillar expertise and broad knowledge of IT practices, focusing on information management, data handling, and system configurations for project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of IT support for EPCI business applications as a lead or administrator.
• Finance IT SME with Timekeeping, General Accounting, Job Cost Accounting, Sub-ledgers, General Ledger and Close Cycles.
• Experience with ERP and BI tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for interpreting internal or external business issues and recommending best practices for IT Pillar.
• Solve complex IT Pillar-related problems and work independently with minimal guidance.
• Lead functional teams or projects as required.
• Coordinate project life cycle information management from initial estimate to handover.
• Prepare and review proposals, and coordinate infrastructure setup for projects.
