Job summary
Singtel in Malaysia is seeking a senior legal professional to review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts with domestic and global suppliers and partners. The role provides remote legal support to IT, Networks and Property teams and acts as a strategic partner to business units.
Requires 12–15 years PQE, law degree, and admission to practice in Malaysia/Singapore/UK. You will work under Singtel's Legal team, upholding policies and delivering robust legal solutions.
Qualifications
- Degree in Law and admitted to practice in Malaysia, Singapore or the UK.
- 12–15 years PQE in-house or with a reputable commercial law firm.
- Strong legal analytical skills with knowledge of corporate and contract law.
- Excellent contract drafting skills.
- Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team and uphold company policies.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate and advise on procurement, partnership and other contracts with suppliers and partners.
- Pro-actively advise on legal, commercial and operational risk issues within contracts.
- Collaborate with business lines and stakeholders to provide robust legal solutions aligned with Singtel policies.
- Ensure documentation is maintained with proper processes and policies.
- Collaborate with the Legal team at Singtel, Singapore.
