Job summary

Singtel Kuala Lumpur (Sudong MY Sdn. Bhd.) is seeking a Legal Contract Manager to provide commercially focused legal support across technology, cloud, cybersecurity, and partnerships.

You will draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a broad range of contracts while ensuring policy and governance compliance. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting regional business units, and delivering practical, risk-balanced legal solutions in a dynamic international

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Law and admission to practice in Malaysia, Singapore, the United Kingdom, or Australia.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on supplier, customer, partner, reseller, procurement, non-disclosure, and technology-related contracts.
• Provide legal support to the Partnership & Alliance, Cloud & Cybersecurity, and Network Security Services units, with IoT involvement when needed.
• Partner with business stakeholders to deliver pragmatic, commercially sound legal advice balancing objectives with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct holistic legal reviews of commercial transactions, identifying legal and commercial risks to protect Singtel's interests.
• Advise on compliance with contract policies and governance, including deviations when necessary.
• Maintain contracts and documentation in the contract management repository with proper governance.
• Build relationships with regional legal teams for consistent support and knowledge sharing.
• Assist negotiations with customers, suppliers, and partners to enable commercial outcomes.
• Monitor regulatory developments and propose risk mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to improving legal processes, templates, and governance practices.
