Job summary

Singtel Group seeks a senior commercial lawyer to manage procurement contracts and partnerships for Singtel’s Malaysia-based units, advising on legal and commercial risk while coordinating with the Singapore Legal team.

Based in Malaysia, you will lead contract reviews, provide strategic legal solutions, and ensure compliance with Singtel policies. PQE 12–15 years, admitted in Malaysia/Singapore/UK, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

Degree in Law and admitted to practice in Malaysia/Singapore or the UK.
12–15 years’ PQE in-house or with a respected law firm.
Strong analytical skills with detail orientation and general corporate law knowledge.
Capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with deadlines.
Independent worker and team player, aligning with company policies.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, negotiate and advise on procurement, partnership and other contracts.
Proactively advise on legal, commercial and operational risk as part of contract advice.
Collaborate with business units and stakeholders for pragmatic, robust solutions.
Ensure documentation is maintained with policies and organizational memory.
Collaborate with Singtel Legal team in Singapore and reporting lines.
