Great Eastern is seeking a senior leader to head the IT Infrastructure Projects Delivery capability. You will drive strategy and execution across traditional, cloud, and hybrid environments, managing a portfolio of infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science/IT or diploma in a relevant field.
10+ years of leadership experience managing infrastructure projects.
Advanced project management skills with strategic planning and program management capabilities.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Understanding of various Software Development Lifecycle and Project Management methodologies.
Experience with enterprise architectures and technologies for network, servers, database, storage and middleware.
Planning and organizational skills for team leadership and BAU workload management.
Self-driven with a positive attitude and leadership to champion culture change within IT and with business stakeholders.
Strong communication and conflict-management abilities.
Ability to articulate Project Risk, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies clearly.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership to the Infra Project department and guide junior project managers and teams.
Establish and enforce project governance, standards, and best practices.
Lead complex, multi-phase projects with significant business impact, within scope and timelines.
Define project objectives, deliverables and success criteria.
Track milestones and highlight risks to PSC and senior management.
Ensure alignment with PMO standards and processes.
Translate business IT requirements into technical requirements.
Coordinate between vendors and internal teams for troubleshooting and post-mortems.
Prepare full-scale proposals with technical solutions for management approval.
Collaborate with governance functions on risk management and procurements.
Identify risks and dependencies and propose mitigations.
Maintain awareness of regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies to safeguard the company.
Share best risk management practices and highlight potential concerns.
