Job summary

AirBorneo Airways Sdn Bhd seeks an experienced Senior IT Governance & Compliance professional to lead policy framework, risk assessment and assurance activities. You will guide governance across technology functions, coordinate audits and maintain records to support airline safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, 8–10 years in governance and familiarity with COBIT/ISO 27001 principles, with preference for aviation sector exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS, Engineering, Risk Management or related field.
• Postgraduate qualification in technology management is an advantage.
• Professional certifications such as COBIT, CGEIT, CISA, CRISC, ITIL, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor preferred.
• Typically 8–10 years in IT governance, risk, compliance, assurance or PMO governance.
• Experience in aviation, transport or regulated industries is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Technology governance framework, policy management and documentation.
• Coordinate audits, assurance activities and remediation tracking.
• Monitor compliance, control effectiveness and escalation of risks.
• Lead governance reporting to Head of Technology and governance forums.
• Manage governance evidence, registers and change control records.
