Job summary

JLL is seeking a Senior OT Facilities Engineer within Integrated Facility Management in Malaysia, based at Kulim/Penang Island. The role requires IT/computer background, a 12-hour day/night shift, and a minimum of 2 years hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT support, system/network administration, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, hardware, and software.
• Experience with network management tools, server administration, and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and security systems.
• Proficiency in Windows, Linux, Mac OS, and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and tools globally and in India.
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure including uptime and security.
• Install and set up new computer systems, servers, and networks.
• Respond to technical issues and resolve hardware/software/network problems.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to fix system errors.
• Ensure backups and disaster recovery are in place.
• Migrate IT infrastructure to cloud platforms if needed.
• Document network configurations and maintenance schedules.
• Stay updated with industry trends and new tech.
