Venture Electronics Services (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Penang (Malaysia) invites a seasoned Principal System Analyst, IT to define and execute the global MES strategy, align with business goals, and lead architecture for a multi-site electronics manufacturing network.

The role oversees SAP–MES integration (PP, QM, WM), manages MES projects end-to-end, mentors teams, ensures DRP/BCP adherence, and drives continuous improvement across sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years' relevant experience and 5+ years in team management.
• Proven MES development and SAP integration experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience working in cross-functional, multi-site projects.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global MES strategy and roadmap.
• Define and lead MES architecture for a multi-site manufacturing network.
• Architect and manage SAP–MES integration (PP, QM, WM) and connectivity.
• Oversee MES projects from initiation to completion across sites.
• Act as primary technical escalation point with MES vendors and integrators.
• Mentor and build MES capability within Corp and site teams.
• Ensure MES development, hardware certification, DRP and BCP adherence.
• Lead diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution of MES issues.
