Job summary

GrabTaxi Holdings Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior IT Cloud Engineer to design, operate, scale, and secure Grab's enterprise cloud ecosystem. You will lead multi-cloud architecture and administration, build AI-driven automations, and serve as a technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.

You will report to the IT Network Manager and be based onsite at our Petaling Jaya office. The role emphasizes security-by-design and collaboration with Security, Procurement, and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (equivalent practical experience considered)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing, securing, and hardening enterprise cloud infrastructure and SaaS platforms
• Advanced scripting or programming in at least two languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Go, or JavaScript)
• Hands-on experience with enterprise monitoring platforms (Zabbix, Grafana, Datadog)
• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, Terraform preferred
• At least 2 years automating tasks using AWS Lambda, n8n, or similar serverless/workflow platforms
• Experience managing enterprise DNS, SSL/TLS lifecycles, and certificate management
• Solid understanding of enterprise networking (DNS, VPN, VPC/VNet, firewalls, load balancing, zero-trust)
• Troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, Linux; strong containerization knowledge

Responsibilities

• Architect, administer, and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• Design, deploy, and maintain API integrations, webhooks, and workflow automations
• Drive infrastructure-as-code adoption using Terraform and Ansible
• Develop scripts and automation in Python, PowerShell, Bash, Go, or JavaScript
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows
• Monitor performance, diagnose bottlenecks, implement improvements
• Provide technical escalation for complex infrastructure issues
• Design disaster recovery, backups, multi-region failover, business continuity
• Apply security-by-design across enterprise cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate with Security, Procurement, Finance, and IT teams on governance and FinOps
• Document architecture, procedures, integration patterns, and runbooks

Get to Know the Role

We are looking for a Senior IT Cloud Engineer to design, operate, scale, and secure Grab's enterprise cloud ecosystem. You will lead the architecture and administration of multi-cloud environments, build AI-driven automations, and serve as a technical escalation point for complex enterprise infrastructure issues.

You will report to the IT Network Manager and be based onsite at our Petaling Jaya office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Architect, administer, and optimize cloud infrastructure across various cloud platforms AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• You will design, deploy, and maintain API integrations, webhooks, and workflow automations that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
• You will drive infrastructure-as-code adoption using tools such as Terraform and Ansible etc.
• You will develop advanced scripts and automation using languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, Go, or JavaScript
• You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated operational workflows.
• You will monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement proactive improvements.
• You will provide technical escalation support for complex infrastructure, network, endpoint, identity, and access issues.
• Design and implement disaster recovery, backup, multi-region failover, and business continuity strategies.
• Apply security-by-design principles across the enterprise cloud infrastructure.
• Partner with Security, Procurement, Finance, vendors, and IT teams to manage compliance, software lifecycles, vendor relationships, and FinOps initiatives.
• Document architecture, operational procedures, integration patterns, and troubleshooting playbooks.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (equivalent practical experience considered)

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing, securing, and hardening enterprise cloud infrastructure and SaaS platforms
• Advanced scripting or programming skills in at least two languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Go, or JavaScript)
• Hands-on experience setting up and maintaining enterprise monitoring platforms (Zabbix, Grafana, Datadog, or similar)
• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, Terraform is preferred
• At least 2 years of experience automating repetitive operational tasks using AWS Lambda, n8n, or comparable serverless and workflow-automation platforms.
• Experience managing enterprise DNS services, public domain registration, SSL/TLS certificate lifecycles, including certificate issuance, renewal, monitoring, deployment, and centralized certificate-management platforms.
• Solid understanding of enterprise networking components (DNS, DHCP, VPN, VPC/VNet peering, firewalls, routing, load balancing, zero-trust security)
• Strong troubleshooting experience across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, strong knowledge of containerized environment
