Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc in Malaysia seeks a Senior IT Business Analyst to translate customs clearance needs into clear user stories, process flows and test scenarios, partnering with country SMEs, product teams and engineers.

You will support integrations, validate fixes and maintain documentation so releases land smoothly and compliantly, while sustaining Agile ceremonies and a delivery mindset across globally distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical business analysis with requirements elicitation.
• Experience translating needs into user stories and acceptance criteria in Agile.
• Ability to review technical artifacts like XML, data mappings and pseudo-code.
• Strong SQL proficiency for validation and testing evidence.

Responsibilities

• Elicit requirements with Operations, Compliance and country SMEs.
• Translate requirements into user stories and Jira tickets.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups and backlog refinement.
• Create solution artifacts in Confluence: flows, specs, UI mockups, mappings.
• Review integration testing: API payloads, mappings, transformation rules.
• Develop functional tests and test data; support UAT.
• Assist defect triage with engineers in pre-production.
