Job summary

EPS Malaysia is seeking an ERP BI specialist to work interactively with business units and users to design, develop, and support Epicor-based dashboards, BAQs, BPMs, and reports.

You will lead ERP-related projects from initiation to completion, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, and ensure data and system security.

Minimum 5 years ERP experience, strong SQL, Crystal Reports, SSRS, and DMT proficiency, plus excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on ERP experience, preferably Epicor, with strong SQL data management
• Experience in full lifecycle ERP implementation including design, development, testing, deployment
• Expertise in Crystal Reports and SSRS for BI reporting and analytics
• Proficient in using DMT or equivalent data import/export tools in ERP environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication with non-technical users
• Team player with interpersonal and customer service skills
• Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Deep understanding of end-to-end business processes in ERP environments

Job description

Responsible for interactively working with business units and users to design, create, develop, modify, and debug BAQ's (Business Activity Queries), dashboards, BPM's (Business Process Management), scheduled processes and reports, enhancements and customizations to Epicor and provide day-to-day support to users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements
• Create documentation including instruction and user manuals and other reference materials as required
• Manage troubleshooting and identify solutions that support business process
• Lead the implementation and management of system modifications, upgrades, and functional expansions to support evolving business needs
• Lead and manage ERP-related projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budget constraints
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors as needed to ensure successful project delivery and system functionality
• Ensure compliance with data and system security standards at both the system and user levels
• Manage user/menu security and company/site/system maintenance/configuration settings in Epicor

Job Requirement

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with ERP systems, preferably Epicor, along with strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL for data management, queries, and backend support
• Experience in full application implementation lifecycle, including solution design, development, testing, and deployment
• Expertise in Crystal Reports and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), with a strong ability to design, develop, and optimize complex reports to support business intelligence and decision-making needs
• Proficient in using the Data Migration Tool (DMT) or equivalent data import/export tools for efficient data loading within ERP environments
• Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to discuss technical objectives to non-technical user community
• Team player with good interpersonal and customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Self-starter, ability to work with minimal direct supervision
• Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and their interdependencies within an ERP environment
