Job summary

CARSOME Sdn Bhd, Southeast Asia's largest car e-commerce platform, seeks an experienced Internal Audit professional to lead audit programmes, deliver reports to Management and Audit Committee, and perform data analytics to uncover trends and risks.

You will develop recommendations to strengthen controls, conduct investigations as needed, and support the annual audit plan with fieldwork and supervision of junior team members. Travel about 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business/IT/Law or related disciplines.
• CIA, CISA, ACCA or equivalent would be an added advantage.
• 3–5 years of internal audit experience (Big 4 preferred).
• Excellent written English and interpersonal skills.
• Approximately 30% travel will be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop audit programmes addressing the scope of work and complete work papers and testing to support findings.
• Prepare draft deliverables including audit reports and materials for Management or Audit Committee.
• Perform data analytics to identify anomalies and trends and summarise results clearly.
• Develop practical, innovative recommendations to address control weaknesses or improve efficiency.
• Perform investigations and prepare investigation reports for whistleblowing or ad-hoc investigations.
• Follow up on previous recommendations and draft reports for Group Manager review.
• Undertake fieldwork and supervise junior team members.
• Communicate key risks effectively and timely; support with annual audit planning.
