Job summary

Siemens Energy in Malaysia seeks an experienced Internal Audit professional to assess risks, evaluate processes, and deliver insights that strengthen governance and performance. You will work with auditors, data analysts, and SMEs across the globe to understand our business operations and create value.

The role emphasizes data-driven audit approaches, advanced analytics, and collaboration with stakeholders, with opportunities to travel up to 50% regionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, engineering, data analytics or business.
• Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, CISA or similar are preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in internal/external audit, finance, accounting, risk management or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Execute risk-based audits across business areas and functions including project execution, manufacturing, supply chain and finance.
• Apply data analytics and other techniques to identify trends, anomalies, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop understanding of business processes and assess governance, risk management and internal control frameworks.
• Analyze audit findings, identify root causes and present actionable recommendations to enhance performance and control.
• Contribute to audit engagements from planning through reporting, ensuring quality deliverables and value.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and provide objective insights for decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Support evolution of Internal Audit through innovation, knowledge sharing and data-driven assurance.
• Stay updated with industry trends, risks, and regulatory changes to improve audit methodologies.
