Job summary

ACCA Careers in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Internal Audit professional to lead and supervise staff, assess the internal control framework, and drive timely completion of audits. You will ensure documentation of work papers and audit results, analyze findings, and develop actionable recommendations for improvements.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in internal audit, strong analytical and communication skills, and willingness to travel in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Malaysian citizen with at least a Bachelor's Degree.
• Internal audit experience of 3+ years; applicants with lesser experience may be considered for an Internal Audit Assistant.
• Discipline, independence and ability to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Proactive, resourceful, innovative and detail oriented.
• Strong analytical mind with good report writing and presentation skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with staff and clients.
• Willingness to travel.
• Team player yet capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise internal audit staff to ensure adequate coverage of audit scope.
• Assess adequacy and effectiveness of internal control and risk management framework.
• Ensure documentation of working papers, procedures and audit results.
• Analyze findings, determine causes and implications, and develop recommendations.
• Present findings, advise on controls, and promote implementation of corrective actions.
• Oversee tasks and guide junior staff to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
• Complete assigned projects in an organized manner within time and budget.
• Perform ad hoc audits and investigations as required.
