Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Senior Manager, Solution Architect – Insurance to lead the design and delivery of large-scale transformation initiatives. You will translate business requirements into scalable architectures, guide pre-sales activities, and ensure successful delivery of modern insurance platforms.

You will mentor architects and engineering teams while collaborating with stakeholders across delivery programmes, governance, security, and cloud modernization to drive client value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in Solution/Enterprise/Technical Architecture within Insurance, IT services or SI.
• Strong experience in large-scale application development, modernization and digital transformation.
• Experience with insurance platforms and customer engagement solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, enterprise and integration architecture, and modern software practices.
• Experience leading geographically distributed delivery teams.
• Excellent consulting, stakeholder management, and client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture for insurance transformation and managed services.
• Define end-to-end designs covering apps, data, cloud, security and infra.
• Engage with clients to understand objectives and translate to scalable solutions.
• Provide architectural leadership across development, integration, migration, and modernization.
• Develop proposals, roadmaps, estimates, and transition strategies.
• Support pre-sales activities including RFPs, workshops, and solution discussions.
• Guide on cloud adoption, APIs, microservices, DevOps and emerging tech.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies; drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Mentor architects and engineering teams to strengthen capabilities.
