Job summary

EP Group is seeking a Senior Instrument Engineer for upstream oil and gas operations in Malaysia. You will lead design, specification, procurement, construction, troubleshooting and maintenance of Instrumentation/PACO equipment packages.

The position requires 12 years of upstream Instrumentation/PACO experience, including at least 4 years in related roles, and a degree in Electrical/ Electronic engineering with a professional certification or progress toward it.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng in Electrical/ Electronic or equivalent is required.
• Professional certificate or working toward one is required.
• Membership in local or international professional institutions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• 12 years of experience in upstream Instrumentation/PACO Engineering, including at least 4 years in Instrumentation/PACO engineering.
• Experience with design/specification, procurement, construction, troubleshooting and maintenance of Instrumentation/PACO equipment packages.

• BSc or BEng (minimum) in Electrical/ Electronic or equivalent disciplines engineering from University/Colleges/Institutions that is recognized by Board of Engineer, Malaysia.
• Professional certificate or ready to pursue professional certificate by accredited bodies/associations.
• Member of local/International Professional Institutions.

Experience:

• 12 years of experience (minimum) in oil and gas upstream Instrumentation/PACO Engineering, including a minimum 4 years working experience in Instrumentation/PACO engineering. Experience with design/specification, procurement, construction, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Instrumentation/PACO equipment components packages.
