Elsa Talent is seeking a senior Commissioning Engineer to lead electrical and instrumentation commissioning activities in Malaysia. The role focuses on planning, executing, and handing over commissioning work for E&I systems within oil & gas projects.

You will manage a multidisciplinary team, ensure adherence to quality and safety standards, and coordinate with engineering, construction, and operations to resolve technical issues during start-up.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a similar role.
• Relevant engineering and commissioning experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Good knowledge of international electrical and instrumentation standards, applicable design codes, and industry practices.
• Proven competency in testing and commissioning electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Familiarity with oil and gas construction practices, project specifications, and quality requirements.
• Must be registered as a member of the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead commissioning teams and work effectively with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
