Job summary

One Plastic Manufacturing (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced technician to independently set up injection moulding machines, run mould trials and support daily production in a fast-paced environment.

You will troubleshoot defects, monitor cycle times and downtimes, and coordinate with Production, QC and mould teams to ensure quality and on-time output. The role requires at least 5 years hands-on experience in plastic injection moulding, with the ability to adjust machine parameters and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in plastic injection moulding.
• Ability to independently set machine parameters and conduct mould trials.
• Strong understanding of injection pressure, speed, temperature, holding pressure, cooling time and their effects on quality.
• Comfortable supporting daily production and responding to abnormalities.
• Experience with Haitian injection moulding machines is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up and adjust injection moulding machine parameters to achieve consistent product quality and stable production.
• Perform mould changes, machine start-ups and new mould trials.
• Troubleshoot moulding defects including flash, short shots, sink marks, warpage and burn marks.
• Monitor production output, cycle time, rejection rates and machine downtime, and take corrective action when required.
• Coordinate with Production, QC and the mould team to resolve production and quality issues.
• Record approved machine settings, trial results and shift handover information.
• Guide operators on proper machine operation, product handling and production requirements.
• Carry out routine machine checks and report machine or mould problems promptly.
• Maintain workplace safety, 5S and compliance with ISO procedures.

Job description

One Plastic Manufacturing (M) Sdn. Bhd. is an ISO-certified plastic injection moulding manufacturer serving automotive and other manufacturing industries. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on technician who can independently set up machines, carry out mould trials and support smooth daily production.

Key responsibilities

Independently set up and adjust injection moulding machine parameters to achieve consistent product quality and stable production.

Perform mould changes, machine start-ups and new mould trials.

Troubleshoot moulding defects, including flash, short shots, sink marks, warpage and burn marks.

Monitor production output, cycle time, rejection rates and machine downtime, and take corrective action when required.

Coordinate with Production, QC and the mould team to resolve production and quality issues.

Record approved machine settings, trial results and shift handover information.

Guide operators on proper machine operation, product handling and production requirements.

About you

Able to commute reliably to Pandamaran, Klang.
