Job summary

BDO Malaysia invites applications for a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager in Infrastructure Strategy & Commercial Advisory. You will contribute to financial modelling, project economics, bankability assessments, and value creation for high-impact infrastructure deals.

You will lead analyses, mentor juniors, manage stakeholder engagements with government and private entities, and ensure compliant, timely delivery across power, energy, renewables, utilities, transport, and real estate sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent with at least a 2nd-class upper grade.
• Prior working experience in a professional services firm or corporate finance role.
• Demonstrable experience in financial modelling for infrastructure-related and financing projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and review of financial models to assess project economics, returns and bankability.
• Oversee analysis of value drivers and risks, evaluate scenarios and sensitivities, advise on mitigation strategies.
• Deliver high-impact reports, presentations and analyses communicating findings for client decisions.
• Review project agreements, term sheets and regulatory frameworks with guidance on structuring and compliance.
• Manage stakeholder interactions with government, public and private entities to align with client objectives.
• Mentor and guide junior team members ensuring quality and timely delivery.
