Job summary

BDO Malaysia is seeking a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager for Transaction Services to support financial due diligence and deal advisory engagements. You will conduct financial analysis, prepare due diligence working papers, and develop financial models, while collaborating with senior team members to deliver high quality insights for clients.

The role requires a recognised degree in Finance/Accounting and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with strong English communication and IFRS/MFRS

Qualifications

• A recognised degree in Finance, Accounting and/or Professional Accountancy Qualification.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in audit or transaction advisory.
• Experience in financial modelling is highly valued.
• Excellent command of English and strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis and gather key information to support transaction services engagements
• Prepare due diligence working papers, financial findings, and client deliverables with accuracy
• Support senior team members in preparing due diligence reports and presenting insights to clients
• Develop and review financial models for financial modelling engagements
• Perform desktop research on prospective target companies, industries, and trends
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth engagement execution
• Ensure timelines and quality standards are met for engagement delivery
