Job summary

Randstad Malaysia invites experienced infrastructure engineers to join Tier-1 financial services and global telecom teams. You will architect automation across Linux/Windows, drive SRE practices, and build IaC-driven remediation with CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate across geographies to implement self-healing, AI-Ops, and secure, compliant platforms. You'll lead automation playbooks, integrate with Ansible Automation Platform, ServiceNow, Dynatrace and MECM, and shape repeatable, scalable

Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years in IT Infrastructure with 5+ years strictly dedicated to enterprise infrastructure automation and SRE practices.
• Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Ansible, and Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) workflows and RBAC.
• Coding Expertise: Advanced scripting and programming capabilities in Python (critical requirement), alongside Shell, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
• Systems Administration: Hands-on expertise with both Linux/Unix and Windows server administration, JSON/YAML, and CI/CD delivery pipelines.
• Mindset: Proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills, capable of driving automation-first strategies across geographically dispersed cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive Transversal Automation: Deliver scalable automation solutions spanning server lifecycle management, VM provisioning, and configuration drift remediation across Linux and Windows environments.
• Embed SRE & IaC Principles: Apply Site Reliability Engineering methodologies to reduce manual interventions and automate Day-2 operations (patching, monitoring, backup, incident response) using Infrastructure as Code.
• Enterprise Tool Orchestration: Build API-based workflows and integrate data flows across enterprise platforms (Ansible Automation Platform, ServiceNow, MECM, Dynatrace, Qualys).
• Advance Intelligent Operations: Develop reusable automation playbooks, CI/CD pipelines, and pioneer AI-Ops or ChatOps frameworks for event-driven, self-healing remediation.
• Ensure Enterprise Compliance: Maintain version-controlled code repositories and enforce security policies, audit requirements, and system hardening best practices.
