Job summary

Collabera is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to plan and oversee delivery of software and system projects in Malaysia. The role requires coordinating internal teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget results with quality deliverables.

The candidate will manage budgets, timelines, scope, risks, and vendor performance, while guiding teams through agile, Scrum, or waterfall lifecycles and maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of IT project management experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Experience with software development projects is highly desirable.
• Exposure to core banking, loan origination, card systems, payment systems (SWIFT/RENTAS), or collection and recovery systems in Malaysia is preferred.
• PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or equivalent certification is an advantage.
