Job summary

BizLink Technology (S.E.A.) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an IT Asset Manager to oversee the organization’s software, hardware, SaaS subscriptions, vendor agreements, and ISIT contracts. You will ensure accurate tracking and license compliance while optimizing IT costs across the portfolio.

Key duties include managing full asset lifecycle (procurement to disposal), software and hardware asset management, contract renewals, vendor relationships, audits support, and regular reporting to ISIT leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT asset management and software licensing.
• Strong understanding of asset lifecycle processes and controls.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across Procurement, Legal, Finance and ISIT.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, including planning, procurement, deployment, renewal, retirement, and disposal.
• Manage Software Asset Management (SAM) and ensure software license compliance.
• Manage Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and maintain accurate hardware inventory.
• Track software usage and identify unused or underused licenses.
• Support software audits and license reviews.
• Ensure compliance with software licensing, IT asset policies, vendor agreements, and internal audit requirements.
• Manage relationships with key IT vendors and service providers.
• Track IT contracts, renewals, notice periods, and commercial risks.
• Support contract negotiations with Procurement, Legal, Finance, and ISIT leadership.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities across software, hardware, cloud, and vendor contracts.
• Provide regular reports to the ISIT leadership.
