Tenpower in Malaysia seeks an experienced Industrial Engineer to lead IE activities, drive efficiency, and deliver cost improvements across manufacturing operations.

You will optimize workflows, implement SOPs and standard times, and lead Lean initiatives and cross-functional projects to achieve sustained gains. A strong background in production optimization and data-driven decision making is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in IE, manufacturing process improvement or operational excellence.
• Strong knowledge of production optimization, manpower planning, cost control.
• Proven Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
• Experience in line layout, time/motion studies, and line balancing.

Responsibilities

• Lead IE activities to drive efficiency, cost reduction, and continuous improvement.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities via process improvements and waste elimination.
• Analyze workflows, manpower, and line layouts to boost capacity.
• Develop SOPs, standard times, and work instructions for consistency.
• Analyze cost data, propose improvements, monitor implementation.
• Set and monitor KPIs for efficiency, utilization, and costs.
• Drive Lean initiatives: 5S, Kaizen, VSM, CI projects.
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects with multiple departments.
• Use data analysis to identify bottlenecks and support data-driven decisions.
• Mentor IE team for project execution and competency growth.
