RED Engineering Design seeks a Senior ICT Engineer for our Kuala Lumpur office. You will lead ICT infrastructure projects from concept to delivery, mentor junior staff, and strengthen our APAC presence. The role emphasizes coordination with BIM teams and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Key responsibilities include producing design packages, ensuring quality and timing, and representing the firm in client meetings while translating requirements into robust ICT solutions.

Qualificações

• Engineering degree with at least 2 years' ICT infrastructure design experience
• Data cabling manufacture/contracting
• IT/IP network systems integration
• Network technology vendor/manufacturer experience
• Experience in ICT consulting or construction projects
• Knowledge of MS Office and BIM tools
• Understanding of BIM levels/processes and design coordination

Responsabilidades

• Produce ICT infrastructure design packages including reports, drawings, schematics, schedules, and specifications
• Ensure quality and delivery timelines align with project demands
• Develop 2D CAD drawings and 3D Revit models with BIM team, focusing on coordination and clash detection
• Represent RED ICT in technical meetings with clients and design teams
• Ensure specifications and calculations meet project briefs and standards
• Coordinate ICT design with electrical and mechanical disciplines
• Meet clients and stakeholders to understand technical and operational requirements
• Peer review of drawings such as cabling layouts and comms room plans
