Job summary

Hitachi Rail STS Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior HR Executive to support payroll coordination and HR operations across the employee lifecycle.

This role collaborates with employees, managers and external payroll vendors to ensure accurate payroll processing, compliant HR administration and timely contract renewals. A diploma or degree in HR is required, with 2–5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in HR operations, payroll administration, or HR shared services.
• Knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
• Experience coordinating payroll activities with external payroll vendors is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with HRIS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Payroll Coordination: Coordinate monthly payroll processing with external payroll vendors; consolidate and validate inputs; review payroll reports.
• HR Operations: Manage onboarding, transfers, contracts, offboarding, and maintain records.
• Employee Support & HR Administration: Serve as first point of contact for HR inquiries; generate HR reports and ensure compliance.
