Job summary

Private Advertiser in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced HR & Admin Manager to lead HR and administrative operations. The role is the senior HR lead on the ground, partnering with regional HR leadership to drive governance, strategy, and operational delivery.

The ideal candidate will be strategic yet hands-on, capable of handling complex employee relations, overseeing HR operations, and influencing a diverse workforce across local and regional teams.

Qualifications

• 10-12 years+ HR management experience including at least 6 years at managerial level
• Deep expertise in employee relations including investigations, disciplinary processes
• Proven ability to influence in a diverse, multi-cultural environment
• Strong grounding in HR processes, compensation & benefits, and governance
• Hands-on leadership as senior HR on the ground

Responsibilities

• Partner with regional HR leadership and business leaders to shape and execute HR strategies
• Lead organisation design, workforce planning, succession planning, and capability development
• Advise on employee relations including investigations, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution
• Drive change management initiatives to support transformation and alignment
• Oversee end-to-end HR operations, ensuring high-quality HR services
• Manage compensation and benefits operations including payroll and compliance with Malaysian legislation
• Review and streamline HR processes to strengthen governance and efficiency
• Provide HR insights, dashboards, and data analytics for decision-making
• Lead or support cross-border HR projects with regional teams
• Oversee general office administration for Kuala Lumpur operations
• Manage relationships with external vendors and government bodies
