Job summary

Centific Global Solutions is hiring a Senior Hardware Validation Engineer based in Malaysia. You will own electrical and system-level verification for consumer electronics from prototype to mass production, collaborating with CM/ODM teams and Meta engineering groups in the US.

You will develop test plans, drive failures to root cause, and communicate status across time zones in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes hands-on lab work and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years hardware verification/validation in a lab for consumer electronics.
• Subject matter expertise in signal integrity and power integrity with additional domains.
• Experience validating high-speed interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, I2S) and protocols (USB, PCIe, MIPI, DisplayPort/eDP).
• Hands-on lab equipment proficiency and ability to read schematics/ layouts.
• Experience with CM/ODM/JDM or component vendors and test plan ownership.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test data visualization tools with HTML outputs.
• Use Meta AI tools to accelerate visualization and automation scripts.
• Analyze test data to identify anomalies and provide scalable reports.
• Troubleshoot automation framework and test scripts for reliability.
• Transition toward Data Scientist role building data pipelines and dashboards.
• Document automation guidelines, procedures, and equipment configurations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate validation and support NPI.
• Stay current with industry trends to enhance data automation.
