TECAN CDMO Solutions PN Sdn. Bhd in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Verification & Reliability Engineer to join our R&D team.

You will plan, design, execute, and document verification and reliability testing for new product development and change projects. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet requirements for functionality, performance, quality and reliability, contributing to troubleshooting, improving testing methodologies, and advancing product and workflow

Formación

• 2–8 years of relevant experience in instrument, system, or module development, verification, testing, or reliability engineering.
• Experience in the medical device industry is an advantage.
• Good understanding of verification, validation, testing, and reliability engineering processes.
• Familiarity with V&V methodologies, tools, and test documentation practices.
• Understanding of hardware and software technologies, with basic programming skills.
• Ability to apply test automation techniques to support semi-automated test design and execution.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, plan, execute, and document verification and reliability tests for new product development and product change projects.
• Contribute to R&D project teams by carrying out verification and reliability engineering activities.
• Develop clear, detailed, and traceable technical test documentation and reports.
• Analyze test results, investigate technical issues, troubleshoot complex problems, and support evidence-based decision-making.
• Collaborate with project teams and fellow Verification & Reliability Engineers to communicate progress, findings, risks, and potential solutions.
• Support the assessment of product design concepts against defined requirements and specifications.
• Contribute to improvements in product functionality, technical performance, testing processes, and workflows.
• Apply appropriate verification methodologies, tools, and test automation techniques to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support other engineers with development, testing, and technical problem-solving activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable internal processes, SOPs, guidelines, quality requirements, and regulatory expectations.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks, maintain work quality, and deliver results in line with project objectives and deadlines.
• Continuously develop technical knowledge and professional skills while demonstrating the company's values and expected behaviors.
