Job summary

Unknown is seeking a Senior Manufacturing & Quality Engineer for Medical Devices & Consumer Electronics to ensure hardware products, processes, fixtures, tooling, and quality systems are designed, validated, and maintained for mass production.

The role collaborates with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and internal teams through NPI to mass production, with travel within the region as required and strong emphasis on quality and process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in a related engineering field.
9+ years in manufacturing process support, manufacturing engineering or quality engineering.
Experience taking hardware products from development through NPI to mass production.
Strong background in consumer electronics and/or electro-mechanical medical devices.
Hands-on experience with manufacturing and qualification processes (injection molding, metal fabrication, SMT, batteries, packaging).

Responsibilities

Lead development, validation, implementation, and maintenance of high-volume manufacturing processes, fixtures, tooling, and production systems.
Ensure suppliers and contract manufacturers meet design, fabrication, assembly, testing and quality requirements.
Drive NPI programs from early development through EVT/DVT/PVT to mass production.
Lead yield improvement, cost reduction, process validation, and CAPA initiatives.
Collaborate with contract manufacturers and EMS partners; work remotely and onsite as required; travel regionally.
