Job summary

Funding Societies | Modalku is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for Growth & Commercial Analytics to own the customer and sales-side view of lending, shaping segmentation, acquisition, and retention strategies. You’ll translate data into actionable insights for leadership on which customers, products, and channels to invest in.

You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams, building standardized KPIs, and presenting findings through clear visualisations and reports.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in customer, marketing, or product analytics, ideally within financial services.
• Experience delivering analyses such as customer segmentation, lifetime value analysis, hypothesis testing, and acquisition strategy.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with BI or data visualisation tools.
• Strong, structured problem-solving and analytical reasoning.
• Proactive attitude, comfortable bringing proposals and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with experience owning projects across departments.

Responsibilities

• Customer Value & Segmentation: Build and maintain a customer lifetime value framework to identify which customers, products, and channels merit continued investment.
• Sales & Marketing Analysis: Analyse sales and marketing activity data, translating findings into acquisition and retention recommendations.
• Insights Generation: Own end-to-end hypothesis-driven analysis of growth questions such as acquisition, churn, retention, and monetisation.
• Framework Building: Establish and maintain standardised KPIs and measurement frameworks to track commercial performance.
• Presentation & Communication: Communicate insights through clear visualisations, reports, and presentations.
• Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to align on objectives and inform decision-making.
