Prudential plc is seeking a seasoned risk management professional to lead the Group's non-financial & operational risk management framework across Head Office and multiple LBUs. You will oversee RCSA processes, incidents reviews, and risk reporting, driving continuous improvement in controls and data-driven insights.
The role requires strong data analytics capabilities, experience with risk frameworks, and a collaborative approach to engage senior stakeholders across markets in Asia and Africa.

Lead, drive and manage the Group's non-financial & operational risk management methodology / framework (incl. risk taxonomy, control library and risk appetite), policies, and standards, by identifying and implementing forward-thinking and innovative approaches to risk management. Maintain awareness of best practices in the industry for non-financial & operational risk management. Oversee and review data quality within the PRISM - ORM module for Head Office and a portfolio of LBUs, ensuring adherence to the Group's non-financial and operational risk management methodology and framework. Thorough understanding of non-financial & operational risk environment for Head Office and a portfolio of LBUs. Coordinate the Group-wide Risks and Controls Self-Assessment (RCSA). Oversee and maintain a "dynamic" RCSA, together with independent challenge, for Head Office and a portfolio of LBUs. Act as the Group Risk Steward for selected operational risk areas on a Group-wide basis, with the responsibilities for reviewing, overseeing and reporting of these risks to Group / Local Risk Governance Forums. Detailed review and provide valuable insights on internal operational risk incidents (incl. risk appetite events) for Head Office and a portfolio of LBUs. Ensure investigations are appropriately completed, root causes are identified, gaps / issues are mitigated, and actions are comprehensive with tracking to implementation. Provide accurate and timely reporting of risk appetite events (including new and status update thereafter) for Head Office and a portfolio of LBUs to Group Risk Governance Forum. Provide ad hoc support to Head Office and a portfolio of LBUs to advance non-financial risk management skills and risk awareness. Where necessary, conduct operational risk training (incl. practices, processes and systems / tools). Lead and drive non-financial & operational risk management projects when required in pursuit of the Group's / department's strategic goals.
