Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Senior System Debug Engineer to debug and support customer and internal teams in solving computer system issues. You will work with other departments and provide solutions for quality improvement, with familiarity in Intel low-level debugging; experience with Intel Target Probe (ITP) is a plus.

The ideal candidate has strong abilities in reviewing GPU server test logs, failure analysis, and collaborating with production, engineering and RMA teams to resolve issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering; Master's is a plus.
• Around 5 years of relevant experience in server systems or hardware validation.
• Experience with server/notebook/desktop platforms is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze GPU server test logs to identify failure points.
• Maintain and update failure logs, SN records, and related documentation.
• Stay updated with GPU vendor guidelines and debugging tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operations.
• Support system-level debugging and root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues.
• Document debugging procedures and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Support evaluation of hardware components and firmware updates.
