Job summary

AMD is seeking a seasoned engineer in Penang to serve as an expert in server system debugging for next-generation processors. You will act as the technical touchpoint to design, platform validation and product engineering teams, contributing to issue resolution and high-visibility projects.

The role requires 8+ years in hardware design/debug, strong knowledge of x86, DDR and high-speed IO, and excellent communication to support customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of extensive engineering experience.
• Experience as design/debug engineer in computer hardware.
• Proven ability to debug server systems at the platform level.

Responsibilities

• Debug server systems with emphasis on platform level debugging.
• Provide root cause analysis and guidance to internal and customer design teams.
• Support projects independently and collaborate with internal/external teams.
