Job summary

Bitdeer is seeking an experienced Data Center Network Engineer to join our global network team. You will design and deploy EVPN‑VXLAN fabrics, manage multi‑site DCI interconnects, and optimize BGP routing across spine‑leaf data centers.

You will work with Arista/Cisco gear, implement IP transit and peering, and drive network automation using Ansible, NetBox, and related tools. A strong focus on QoS, capacity planning, and security posture is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data center network engineering with EVPN‑VXLAN experience.
• Strong command of BGP (eBGP/iBGP) and multi‑site DCI design.
• Experience with spine‑leaf data centers and QoS planning.
• Proficient with Arista/Cisco gear and firewall platforms for security.

Responsibilities

• EVPN-VxLAN data center fabrics for multi-tenant network isolation and workload mobility.
• Multi-site DCI overlay/underlay connecting 4 US DCs with consistent L2/L3 services.
• BGP (eBGP/iBGP), OSPF, ECMP, and VxLAN across spine-leaf architectures.
• IP transit, peering relationships, and internet edge infrastructure.
• WAN/IP backbone connecting US DCs to APAC and Iceland sites.
• Network equipment: Arista, Cisco, and Palo Alto switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Network automation with Ansible, Python/Netmiko, Nautobot/NetBox for IPAM/DCIM.
• Network health, capacity, and SLA monitoring across all sites.
• Docs, standard configs, and change procedures; feed the AIOps substrate.
• All route policies, ACLs, VRFs, and peering sessions as code in config management.
• Every BGP flap and DCI issue informs network‑stability predictions; changes run as workflows.
