Job summary

Brooks Automation in Malaysia/Southeast Asia is seeking a Senior Global Commodity Manager – OEM to lead regional sourcing for wafer handling equipment and related components. You will shape supplier strategy, negotiate terms, and drive supply continuity across the region.

The role requires collaboration across Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Finance, with travel across Southeast Asia and China. A track record in OEM sourcing and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading strategic sourcing and supplier initiatives with OEM components.
• Experience building OEM supplier strategies and executive-level relationships.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional sourcing decisions.
• Understanding of RFQ through delivery and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Develops regional commodity strategies for OEM suppliers in Malaysia/Southeast Asia.
• Leads negotiations for pricing, terms, contracts, and capacity commitments.
• Acts as senior owner for OEM supplier escalations across production and quality.
• Reviews drawings, BOMs, and supplier docs in PLM tools to assess requirements.
• Owns end-to-end sourcing execution from RFQ to delivery and performance.
• Regular regional travel within Malaysia, Southeast Asia, and China.
