Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Specialist in Johor to lead end-to-end freight and distribution activities across the Asia region. You will oversee 3PL coordination, ensure on-time delivery to sites and customers, and manage documentation in line with global compliance standards.

The role requires strong SAP/ERP skills, 7–10 years in regulated logistics, and a proven track record in cross-border operations within the Malaysia-Singapore corridor.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• 7–10 years logistics experience in regulated/manufacturing setting.
• 2–5 years leadership or 3PL management experience.
• Proficient in SAP and/or ERP/WMS; advanced Excel.
• Familiar with ISO standards and DG/HazMat compliance.
• Experience across Johor/Singapore–Malaysia cross-border flows.
• Lean/Six Sigma exposure.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end freight and distribution activities for inbound, outbound, and intercompany shipments across the Asia region.
• Oversee coordination with global and regional 3PLs, freight forwarders, and couriers.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to manufacturing sites, customers, and distribution centers.
• Track and resolve logistics issues, including shipment delays, damage claims, or documentation discrepancies.
• Ensure shipments comply with international trade, customs, and local regulatory requirements.
• Prepare, verify, and maintain shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, origin certificates, airway bills, K8/K1 forms).
