Job summary

Jadestone Energy is seeking an experienced Group Subsurface leader to guide a team of geologists across Jadestone's assets. You will review subsurface work scopes for green, mid-life and mature fields to support production optimization, field development and infill drilling.

You will also review deliverables and liaise with partners, regulators, banks and auditors. You will manage asset evaluations for inorganic growth and ensure timely, high-quality submissions while mentoring a multinational

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years' experience related to petroleum geosciences with emphasis on brown field development.
• Strong ability to integrate geology with reservoir engineering and production disciplines.
• Experience leading multi-national, multi-disciplinary teams and delivering to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technical assurance of subsurface evaluations with geology, geophysics and petrophysics.
• Provide hands-on support for integrated development/production studies and FDPs.
• Lead well planning activities including infill targets and data acquisition.
• Oversee M&A due diligence geological evaluations and asset proposals.
• Integrate geological work with reservoir engineering for mid-life and mature field development.
• Develop and mentor junior geologists; manage HR initiatives and appraisals.
• Coordinate with JV partners and regulators to ensure timely deliverables.
