MSD Malaysia is seeking a Senior Specialist in Accounting to Reporting (AtR) to ensure accurate accounting for AP across markets in the APJC region. The role collaborates with Local Finance teams to reflect results per US GAAP and local statutory/tax rules, maintaining strong internal controls and audit readiness.

The position requires expertise in SAP, ERP controls, and process improvement, with 6+ years in finance and 2+ years in supervision.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 6+ years in finance/accounting in a multinational company with US and ex-US GAAP exposure.
• Minimum 2 years in supervisory role.
• Business-level English (speaking and writing).

Mansioni

• Supervise general ledger activities and period end close for AP clusters.
• Manage General Ledger and AtR sub-process activities.
• Ensure transactions reflected correctly in the ledger by country.
• Direct accurate and timely period reporting meeting corporate and country requirements.
• Lead process improvement projects to streamline service delivery.
