SEG International Bhd is seeking an Executive/Senior Executive, Accounts (General Ledger) in Malaysia. You will prepare, review and analyze management reports and ensure records comply with standards and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities include monitoring reimbursements, assisting in cash flow, budgeting, reconciliations, audits, and month-end closings. The role involves liaising with auditors and bankers and finalizing tax computations.

Qualifications

• Possess LCCI/Certificate/Diploma/Degree/Partial Professional Qualification in Accounting.
• Preferably 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide insights.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Ability to meet deadlines with good organisational skills.
• Shortlisted candidates will be notified.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, review and analyze monthly/quarterly management reports.
• Ensure accounting records comply with accounting standards and local regulations.
• Monitor reimbursements and ensure costs are recorded and claimed timely.
• Assist in cash flow analysis, budgeting and annual budget preparation.
• Review account reconciliations and liaise with auditors.
• Handle month-end closing accurately and on time.
• Review fixed assets and insurance coverage amounts.
• Prepare monthly management reports, audit and tax schedules.
• Assist in final Audited Financial Statements and tax computations.
• Coordinate with bankers for Hire Purchase and bank guarantees.
