Job summary

Howden Insurance Brokers Limited in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced professional to manage client servicing of General Insurance accounts on property and casualty, including renewals and pricing negotiations. You will develop client relationships and advise on risk coverage while coordinating with regional teams.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma or bachelor’s degree in actuarial sciences or related fields, has at least 7 years of relevant experience, and can communicate in Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, economics, business management or related disciplines.
• 7+ years of working experience in a similar field.
• Knowledge of the principles of General Insurance.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently on client management.
• Mandarin communication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage client servicing of General Insurance accounts on property and casualty.
• Handle renewals and develop business relationships with clients.
• Negotiate coverage terms, conditions and pricing on new and renewal accounts.
• Review risk analyses, prepare client materials and insurance proposals.
• Collaborate with regional specialized team to service complex accounts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain accurate records.
• Represent the company as needed.
