Job summary

Maybank is seeking a Senior Functional Solution Analyst in Kuala Lumpur to clarify and translate business requirements into IT system functional requirements and flows. You will collaborate with business users and technical delivery teams to design scalable IT solutions while ensuring compliance, data governance, and security standards.

You will develop functional solution designs, test strategies, and support deployment with post-go-live stabilization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of banking experience, core deposit and lending.
• Requirements elicitation through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and document analysis.
• Writing BRD, FRS, User Stories, Use Cases, Process Flows and Acceptance Criteria.
• Strong understanding of business processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Ability to identify business challenges and recommend process improvements.
• Good stakeholder management and ability to work with Business Users, Product Owners, Project Managers and Developers.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Communicate effectively with business users and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Clarify and translate business requirements to IT system functional requirements and flows.
• Collaborate with business users and technical delivery teams on scalable IT solutions.
• Understand business context and update the business requirement document (BRD).
• Familiar with existing IT system functionalities and functional flows.
• Translate requirements into a list of system features and assess impact on IT systems.
• Develop functional solution design specifications for IT teams, incorporating compliance and data governance.
• Participate in project meetings to guide the delivery team on functional designs.
• Develop test cases and scripts to verify IT systems meet specifications.
• Assist in changes and post-go-live support as needed.
