Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional full stack development experience with frontend and backend.

• Knowledge of enterprise app development and business solutions is advantageous.

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join Konica Minolta Business Solutions (M) Sdn Bhd on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a pivotal technical leadership role where you will design, develop and maintain robust full stack applications that drive our business solutions forward. Based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, you will be responsible for building scalable web applications across both frontend and backend technologies, whilst mentoring junior developers and establishing best practices across our development teams. This role is critical to delivering high-quality digital solutions that support our customers and internal operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop full stack web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies, ensuring code quality and adherence to architectural standards
• Lead the technical design of new features and system improvements, providing guidance on technology selection and implementation approaches
• Mentor and support junior developers, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Develop and maintain APIs, databases and server-side logic to support frontend applications and integrate with third-party systems
• Optimise application performance, scalability and security, implementing best practices for testing, deployment and monitoring
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing support during production incidents and implementing preventative measures
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the evolution of our technology stack and development practices

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of professional experience as a full stack developer, with demonstrated expertise in both frontend and backend development
• Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases, including SQL optimisation and data modelling
• Experience with RESTful API design and development, microservices architecture and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
• Proven experience with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines and containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong knowledge of software development best practices, design patterns and SOLID principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively within a team environment
• Demonstrated experience mentoring junior developers and fostering technical growth within teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Knowledge of enterprise application development and experience with business solutions is advantageous
