Job summary

Altera is seeking a Manufacturing and Supplier Quality Engineer to lead Altera’s supplier quality management. In this role, you will work closely with engineering, operations and manufacturing suppliers to ensure all quality requirements are met in production.

You will drive issue resolution, oversee supplier quality performance and implement process controls and data analytics to maintain high quality and reliability (Q&R) products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 & IATF16949 quality systems.
• Knowledge of supplier quality management and analytics.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier manufacturing quality to meet Altera requirements.
• Drive RMA, quality incidents, root-cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Define qualification plans and approve changes to supplier processes and materials.
• Plan and lead supplier quality audits until action closure.
