Job summary

Flex is seeking a Financial Analyst to support our Prai, Penang teams. You will prepare and research financial reports to ensure charges and headcount are accurately allocated to the correct business units and reported in a timely manner.

A typical day includes consolidating statements, inputting journal entries, preparing forecasts, and supporting quarterly reviews and audits. You will liaise with tax, treasury, and regional finance teams to drive profitability improvements.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 5–6 years of related experience in the Financial Planning and Analysis role in any MNC.
• Related professional certification preferred - CPA, CFP, CMA, CA, CGA, or APICS.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the timely preparation and review of consolidated financial statements.
• Input journal entries.
• Aggregate and prepare actual and forecast financial data; compare forecasts.
• Develop detailed commentary on changes in forecasts and deviations from metrics.
• Assist in quarterly reviews and year-end audit activities.
• Advise on corporate accounting policies, U.S. GAAP and BS recons.
• Liaise between tax, treasury and finance managers regionally.
• Generate financial reports for review by business teams.
• Conduct cost investigations as required.
• Make recommendations to management on cost-saving or profitability improvement.
