This role focuses on Fortinet technologies, LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPNs, and network security, with ownership of vulnerability management and incident response. You will act as the networking SME for multi-customer environments, provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Service Desk, SOCs, and vendors in a hybrid Kuala Lumpur/London
Qualifications
- Hands-on network and security engineering role.
- Own network vulnerability management and remediation.
- Support Fortinet technologies across customer environments.
- Operate as SME for networking in Managed Services.
- Interact with Service Desk, SOCs, and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Act as networking SME for Managed Services.
- Resolve complex LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VPN, firewall issues.
- Manage Fortinet technologies including FortiGate and security policies.
- Support SD-WAN, BGP/OSPF, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and site connectivity.
- Lead investigations and root-cause analysis of major incidents.
- Develop runbooks and share knowledge with peers.
